Congratulations! Your Billy Beans I "Scream" Sauce is a 1st place winner in the Salsa Fresh category and a 2nd place winner in the Salsa General category of the 1999 Fiery Food Challenge.
This is indeed an honor, as hundreds entries were received for the oldest and most prestigious blind, independent judging event for the hot and spicy industry.
All precautions were taken to ensure the tightest controls, providing the in and participants with accurate results. Top culinary professionals were used as judges, and the results were independently tabulated with no information as to the identity of the contestants. The results are independent and in no way reflect the opinion of Chili Pepper magazine.
Enclosed you will find a certificate suitable for framing. The awards are in the process of being personalized and will be sent under separate cover along with 1,000 bottle-top stickers for identifying your your product as a 1999 Fiery Food Challenge winner. Your product will be featured in the March/April issue of Chile Pepper and will be included in a public relations campaign to local and national media in the coming months.
